IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL IREDELL COUNTY FACILITIES ARE TOBACCO FREE. YOU MUST LEAVE
THE CAMPUS IN ITS ENTIRETY TO USE ANY TYPE OF TOBACCO PRODUCT INCLUDING
SMOKELESS TOBACCO. ANYONE WHO ABUSES THIS WILL IMMEDIATELY BE ISSUED AN
HONOR THE GAME CARD AND TEAM COACH NOTIFIED. ANY REPEAT OFFENSE, WILL RESULT
IN IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM PROPERTY.
Directions:
FROM I-77 and I-40: Travel into Statesville - From the intersection of I-77 and I-40 Travel west on I-40.
Get off I-40 on exit #150. Turn left at bottom of ramp (turn right if traveling from the west [Hickory/Asheville
[). Go towards downtown. Turn left into the school off Center Street (at gym). The gym will be on your right
as you turn in. Court 1 & 2 are in the main gym and can enter the doors on the side of the gym only. Main
doors will remain locked from the outside.
Court 3 or AUXILIARY GYM. Proceed to back parking lot to enter gym. If this is a one court facility, the
coaches meeting will be conducted in the hallway of the Auxiliary gym. If this is a 3 court facility, the
coaches meeting will be held on the main gym level. Proceed down hallway and up the stairs to the left
to enter main gym.
Preferred Hotel: Holiday Inn Express is within 5-10 minutes of each facility
Parking: Parking MUST be in a parking space only. Do not park on the road to the left of the gym. All
vehicles will be towed immediately and without notice.
Restricted areas: All classrooms are restricted areas. On the main level, the area beyond the
bathrooms in the main hallway is also restricted.
Food: NEW NEW NEW for March 26 ONLY
You will be allowed to bring food and coolers into designated team areas of the school. Absolutely
not food or drinks in gym or other areas of the facility. Teams areas will be marked. You may only
use this area. You will NOT have access to electricity.
Food: Food and/or tables are not allowed in any facility unless noted in the coaches meeting or prior to
tournament or published on this site. Absolutely no food in facility. Drinks allowed in main and auxiliary
gym.
NEW: NO USE OF ELECTRICITY OR CROCK POTS ALLOWED INSIDE FACILITY
Please make sure you communicate this with your parents so we do not lose this facility (its also out
main practice facility).
Chairs: Bleachers will NOT be used in the main gym (court 1 and 2). Bleachers will be available in the
auxiliary gym (court 3). Chair are allowed in all gyms, however legs must be protected on you cannot
use them. Absolutely no exceptions. We are happy to advise you of the nearest Family Dollar, Wal Mart
or CVS for tennis balls or towels to put under your chair.
Camping: Allowed in main gym (Court 1 and 2). Allowed in hallway of Court 3 only (no camping in gym)
